SNAP 2022 – slot 2 almost like slot 1 in pattern and difficulty


OVERVIEW:

SNAP – Slot 2 had no major changes in pattern or difficulty level from the first slot. The duration of the exam
was 60 minutes with 3 Sections.
The exam is being offered in three different slots – on 10th December 2022, 18th December 2022, and 23rd
December 2022. This year, students can appear for all three slots.
The overall pattern and the level of difficulty as reported by IMS students are given below along with the IMS
suggestion of time allocation per section:

General English: Reading Comprehension, Verbal Reasoning, Verbal Ability was easy and a total of 15 questions. And an attempt of 13-14 questions is okay.

Analytical & Logical Reasoning had 25 questions and again was easy and an attempt at 2022 questions is okay.

For Quantitative, Data Interpretation & Data Sufficiency there were 20 questions, medium in difficulty level and an attempt of 14-15 questions is fin

Each question carried 1 mark. There was a negative marking of – 0.25 for each incorrect answer. There was no Sectional time limit.

VERDICT
Based on the feedback received from students and IMS experts who took the test in Slot 2, one estimates the
below scores and the corresponding percentiles required to secure a call for the next round of admissions for General Category students to SIBM-Pune, SCMHRD, SIIB, and SIBM-Bengaluru as follows
Raw Score for SNAP Dec 2022 Test Percentile**
A raw score of 40-42 can expect a 98 percentile ( for SIBM -Pune)
A raw score of 38-40 and a 97 percentile ( for SCMHRD)
A raw score of 34-35 could have a 90 percentile ( for SIIB & SIBM Bengaluru)
