The Indian Institute of Management, Sambalpur was established in the year 2015. It is one of the third generation IIMs in the country, approved by the Government of India, and mentored by IIM Indore. According to NIRF ranking 2021, IIM Sambalpur has been ranked 61 amongst management institutions with an overall score of 46.17. It has been recognised as the ‘Institute of National Importance.’

IIM Sambalpur Admission Process

The institute offers admission to a total of four programmes at postgraduate and doctoral levels. For IIM Sambalpur admission, candidates are selected from the Common Admission Test (CAT) score. Indian Institute of Management Sambalpur admission to MBA course is done based on performance in CAT,  Personal Interview (PI) and Written analysis test (WAT). Candidates are selected on the basis of their overall score, merit and performance in the personal appearance. Candidates must adhere to the deadlines and dates for all submissions to complete the application process completely. The eligible candidates for IIM Sambalpur admissions are those possessing a bachelor’s degree or in the final year of the graduate programme.

IIM Sambalpur Admission – Executive MBA

Admission to the Executive MBA programme, candidates must have a valid score in CAT/GMAT/GRE/. The college also conducts IIMSAT for admission to the Executive MBA course. The duration of the course is 2 years. The total fee of the Executive MBA course is Rs. 9,00,000.

Course/Degree Eligibility Criteria
Executive MBA Bachelor’s degree in any discipline valid CAT/MAT/GRE score. Minimum 3 years of work experience in managerial/professional/entrepreneurial roles. If candidates do not have valid CAT/MAT/GRE scores, they have to appear in IIM Amritsar Admission Test (IAAT)
