GSEB 10th Class Results Out : Major Data Points

Candidates who appeared in the GSEB SSC Class 10 board exams in the state can view their results on the GSEB’s official website, gseb.org. The GSEB SSC or Class 10 Board Exams 2022 began on March 28 and ended on April 9, 2022, in various exam centres around the state.

1,37,657 passed in C1 category
Most of the students or about 1,37,657 have passed the GSEB SSC or class 10th exam in the C1 category (51-60%)

Candidates must obtain a ‘D’ grade to pass the SSC exam
To qualify in a subject, a candidate must obtain a minimum of grade ‘D’. To be eligible for a Secondary Certificate, a candidate must obtain a minimum of grade ‘D’ in all subjects. Those candidates who have obtained grades ‘E1’ or ‘E2’ in the subjects of External Examination shall have to improve their performance through subsequent attempts and qualify. The passing standard for a differently-abled candidate is 20%.

65.18 % of candidates passed
Gujarat’s SSC passing percentage is 65.18 per cent. The overall passing percentage is 65.18 % and 59.92% of the boys passed the examination and 71.66% of girls passed the GSEB SSC examination.

7521 candidates got more than 99 percentage
This year a total of 7521 candidates received more than 99 percentile and 77876 candidates secured above 90 percentile.

91-100: A1 grade
81-90: A2:grade
71-80 B1: grade
61-70 B2: grade
51-60 C1:grade
41-50 C2: grade
33-40 D: grade
21-32 E1: grade

12,090 received A1 grade
This year 12090 candidates secured A1 grade, 52992 candidates received A2 grade, 93602 candidates got B1 grade, and 130097 B-2 grades.

Surat district witnessed the highest passing percentage
Surat district witnessed the highest passing percentage of 75.64% and Patan district received the lowest with 54.29%.

5,03,726 candidates passed the exam
A total of 5,03,726 passed the examination out of approximately 8 lakh students. The overall passing percentage is 65.18%.
